Meet Team mazi + zo

We founded mazi + zo for sorority members who demand the best. We understand that your letters hold a special place in your heart for a lifetime, so we meticulously handcraft our original jewelry designs to last.

Lizzy Klein, founder of mazi + zoFounder Lizzy Klein is a NYC-based entrepreneur who got bitten by the startup bug in the most Greek way possible—as part of the member class that brought AOII back to Cornell (R.I.P. Epsilon 🌹). She remains active in sorority life as a member of the NYC AOII alumnae chapter and an advisor to AOII at Columbia University. After 20+ years working in digital startups, Lizzy founded mazi + zo in 2019 and, why stop there, Mazi New York in 2024.

Lizzy’s personal ear game best was rocking 10 threaders at once, and her favorite mazi + zo design is our stunning Diamond AOII Necklace. Most mornings, you can find her in Central Park with Fredi the German Shepherd, and she loves all things bright and colorful (check out her IG feed for tons of color and a little Fredi!).
